A song written very much with Elvis in mind. If I had to choose a song from him it would be the style of, I Can’t Help Falling in Love. Elvis, unlike me however, is one of the greatest vocalists of all time, with a voice richer than any before or after. That style is surely not my forte and I am not naturally endowed in that direction. It took many trials and much tinkering to put down a lead vocal I was happy with. A simple song that is catchy, depressing, and melancholy. Reminiscing on the initial good times and the eternal hope thereof.
