More bitter, hopeless, heartbroken, tender, misogyny wrapped in such a catchy sweet melody that even the most politically correct listener, would fail to be offended by the old fashion notions on display here. The Patsy Cline song of the same title crept into my subconscious at some point and lent me this title. Although it is never advisable to recommend a woman stay with a man who is emotionally/physically abusive, modern day couples are far too fickle when their relationship is any less romantically exciting than a John Cusack movie, quitting for greener pastures at an increasing frequency. Sometimes standing by your man is the right thing to do.

The song begins with an unmistakeable Beach Boys, Don’t Worry Baby type feel. The lead vocal of this song is infectiously, stuck-in-your-head-for-days catchy. The background vocals in this song, although they are totally informed by the principles excavated from the Heroes and Villains backing vocals, are completely unique and original and showcase what I am talking about when I say “applying the principles” of one thing to another. Before we get so caught up with the idea of plagiarism accusations, remember that I believe that ideas belong to the universe and potentiality itself, there for us to discover if we choose.
